Kary Brittingham struggled during ‘RHOD’ season 5
As RHOD As Season 5 ended its regular season, the ladies gathered to talk about their experience filming the series. Kary opened up about how she struggled to make the show as her marriage “fell apart.”“It was a really tough season for me and looking back at it I realized how much I was in pain and how much I was struggling in my life,” Kary revealed at the reunion. “Watching him, I realized how much I was in pain. My marriage was falling apart and I didn’t want to admit it.
Kary was not physically present at the meeting as she had tested positive for COVID-19 after landing in New York to film the special episode. Eduardo made an appearance in the final but on a video call, not in person. Kary said she and her husband broke up after a deep conversation.

“After the show was over Eduardo and I had to have a real heart-to-heart conversation and we decided we had to go our separate ways. We just told our children, ”she explained. “Obviously I’m really scared and think I was definitely trying to hide what I was going through and I’m very ashamed of my behavior my kids seeing it. I really regret it. I am grateful to my girlfriends for pointing this out and it really allowed me to take a closer look at what I was going through.
Kary Brittingham confirms split on Instagram
As the RHOD The reunion of season 5 has been broadcast, Kary has taken to social networks to separate her from her husband. Kary shares her daughter Isabella with Eduardo and the Bravo star has three children from her first husband.
“As we get into tonight’s episode, I want you to know that Eduardo and I made the very difficult decision to go our separate ways,” Kary said on Instagram. “He has been the most amazing father in the past 17 years to my four children and for that I am eternally grateful.
Kary admitted that she was separating from her husband, but they were now going to be co-parents. The entrepreneur said she was confident they would be able to “handle this next chapter of life with the same amount of mutual respect and love that we have shared for so long.”
“I am so grateful for my amazing children and friends for having surrounded me during this new transition,” she added. “Starting over at 50 is scary and change can be difficult, but I know we are doing the right thing for ourselves and our children. ‘RHOD’ co-stars react
After Kary posted her statement on social media, some RHOD the co-stars responded to the post to express their support.
“I love you, I love you so much,” wrote Stephanie Hollman. “You are strong, daring and beautiful. I send love and prayers to you and your dear family friend. “
Kameron Westcott added, “I love you baby !! I am always there for you !! Pray for your family !! “
