After a victory in the 2018 World Cup, their second title in history, the Blues will believe they have what it takes to win even more international silverware.
After a disappointing loss to Portugal in the 2016 European Championship final, this summer could be their chance for revenge.
France have one of the best teams going into the tournament, with no real weaknesses and star players in all positions.
With Benzema in top form, a potential link with Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann will scare defenders.
France, however, have one of the toughest groups in Euros and will need to be at their best to win one over Germany and Portugal.
Goalkeepers: Hugo Lloris (Tottenham); Mike Maignan (Lille); Steve Mandanda (Marseille)
Defenders: Lucas Digne (Everton); Leo Dubois (Lyon); Lucas Hernandez (Bayern Munich); Presnel Kimpembe (Paris Saint-Germain); Jules Kounde (Sevilla); Clement Lenglet (Barcelona); Benjamin Pavard (Bayern Munich); Raphael Varane (Real Madrid); Kurt Zouma (Chelsea)
Midfielders: Ngolo Kante (Chelsea); Thomas Lemar (Atletico Madrid); Paul Pogba (Manchester United); Adrien Rabiot (Juventus); Moussa Sissoko (Tottenham); Corentin Tolisso (Bayern Munich)
Attackers: Wissam Ben Yedder (Monaco); Karim Benzema (Real Madrid); Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich); Ousmane Dembele (Barcelona); Olivier Giroud (Chelsea); Antoine Griezmann (Barcelona); Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain); Marcus Thuram (Borussia Munchengladbach)
The star man: Kylian Mbappe
It was another fantastic season for Mbappe, as he collected 41 goals and 11 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions for Paris Saint-Germain.
At just 22, the forward will be leading the line for France, something he has already proven he can do in a major tournament after scoring four goals in the 2018 World Cup.
Mbappe has been linked with a move this summer, with possible destinations in Liverpool and Real Madrid, but any move would be one of the most expensive transfers of all time.
The PSG superstar’s pace and talent for goals will line up perfectly with Benzema and Griezmann.
Many believe the top three have the potential to be one of the best attacking forces the Euros have ever seen.
The one to watch: Jules Kounde
The youngster has yet to make an appearance for the French international team, but don’t blame him.
The Sevilla defender has a bright future ahead of him and is already linked with a £ 56million move to Manchester United.
Kounde has represented France at the Under-20 and Under-21 level on several occasions, impressive on every occasion.
He’s done enough to earn the respect of blunderer Didier Deschamps, which isn’t easy as the manager is notoriously ruthless with his selections.
At the age of 22, big things are on the horizon for the youngster, and a successful Euro 2020 could see his value soar.
The manager: Didier Deschamps
Didier Deschamps has been a polarizing figure since his appointment in 2012, but no one can deny his success.
Criticized at first for his conservative tactics and controversial omissions, Deschamps brought France their second World Cup medal and is well positioned to get even more silverware this summer.
All eyes will be on the man who is just one of three to win a World Cup as a coach and a player to deliver.
Deschamps has chosen to select only players who will “form a cohesive unit”, and with France’s wealth of depth, and his squad in great shape in many ways, it is France’s euros to lose.
