Isotopes set to reopen with new COVID-safe practices – fr

Traub said fans should expect to see further changes to keep everyone safe. These new additions include touchless water fountains, blocked benches, plexiglass and signs reminding people to keep their masks on and not to ask for autographs.

People can still line up to order food, but must remain socially distant. There will also be the option to order food online and then wait to be notified when it is ready via text message.

“We’ve been talking about all these changes since last May or even March. And we have been chatting with the city and the city has done a good job responding to a lot of things that we have been discussing over the last year plus, ”Traub said.

Since Bernalillo County recently moved from yellow to green, the Isotopes and New Mexico United football teams can increase their stake from 25% to 50%. However, clubs plan to sell less than that to make room for social distancing.

“Ticket sales have been tremendous for all six games. There are still some places. Again, that’s another thing we want people to do is buy their tickets online, ”Traub said.

The Isotopes will play the Sugar Land Skeeters on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
