Ibrahima Konate’s deal could lead to three more major transfers
Liverpool did their first summer job quickly this week when they announced the arrival of Ibrahima Konate.
The Frenchman will join the Reds from RB Leipzig on July 1 after Liverpool honored their £ 36million release clause.
It was a smooth deal, and helped by Liverpool’s strong relationship with representatives of Konate, the London-based Stellar Agency founded by Jonathan Barnett.
A closer look at Stellar’s client list shows how this simpatico relationship could be further explored.
Other names linked to the Reds are also on Stellar’s client list, including Eduardo Camavinga, 18, and Jeremy Doku, 19, both in Rennes. Another Stellar client to have been linked with an Anfield Switch is 18-year-old Icelandic starlet Isak Bergmann Johannesson of the Swedish side of IFK Norrkoping.
