“I took care of it on the spot” – fr

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot said director Joss Whedon “threatened” her career and that she “took care” of it immediately. Whedon has been accused by actor Ray Fisher of “abusive” behavior on Justice League sets, which he was hired to complete after original director Zack Snyder dropped out halfway through production.

While Gadot has alluded to altercations with Whedon in the past, this is the first time she recognizes the extent of their disagreements. According to a report on Israeli media N12, she said: “I had my problems with Joss and I dealt with it. He threatened my career and said if I did something he would make my career miserable and I took care of it on the spot.

In July 2020, it was reported that Gadot and Whedon clashed on a stage that sexualized Wonder Woman, with the actor refusing to shoot the footage. A double body has been introduced.

An April 2021 article in The Hollywood Reporter quotes sources as saying the actor and filmmaker clashed when Whedon “pushed Gadot to record lines she didn’t like, threatened to damage the career of Gadot and disparaged Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins ”. She reportedly asked to meet with studio president Kevin Tsujihara.

Fisher, who played Cyborg in the film, was the first to accuse Whedon of inappropriate behavior on set. His allegations prompted Warner Bros. to open an investigation, which was concluded without the results being made public.

Gadot reprized his role as a DC superhero in Wonder Woman 1984, which posted lukewarm reviews late last year. She was also seen in the Justice League director’s cut, which was released in March after sustained pressure from fans. She will also be returning for a third and final Wonder Woman film.
