Hunter Biden smoked crack with the late DC Mayor Marion Barry, he revealed to a friend on a taped call obtained by DailyMail.com.
In the January 2019 conversation, Hunter boasted, “I actually smoked crack with Marion Barry, I swear to God. “
Hunter, 51, told his friend he would smoke regularly with Barry in the bathroom of a Georgetown bar while a student there.
The astonishing confession of the call, which was recorded on Hunter’s abandoned laptop, contradicts the President’s son’s claim in his memoir that his arrest as a teenager scared him of drugs until at the end of his studies.
Hunter recorded several of his calls and saved them to his laptop.

Hunter claimed in his memoir – published in April – that his arrest for cocaine possession at the age of 18 scared him greatly until he graduated from college.
“I ended up doing a pre-trial intervention with six months probation, after which the arrest was removed from my file. (I disclosed this voluntarily during a Senate committee hearing in 2006 as part of my appointment to the Amtrak board.), ”He wrote in the book, published in April of this year.
It scared me – for a while. I recognized him and didn’t make coke again that summer or, really, more than twice in college.
Hunter graduated from Georgetown University in 1992, so he claims to have smoked crack with Barry around 1990.
Barry was caught smoking crack on camera during an FBI injection in January 1990 and spent six months in federal prison.
Despite his drug conviction, Barry was elected to DC council in 1992 and was re-elected mayor from 1994 to 1999. He passed away in 2014.
In the sting, Barry was filmed with a woman in a hotel room smoking on drugs.
Barry was filmed smoking crack cocaine in a hotel room with a woman in an FBI sting in January 1990. He then claimed in his autobiography that the sting was a “montage” of his enemies in Washington.
He was known as a civil rights leader, but later became infamous for his drug addiction and beliefs.
In his autobiography, Barry claimed the sting was a “setup” of his enemies in Washington who were unhappy with the number of city contracts he was granting black business owners.
“They didn’t want me to create all these opportunities for black people. So when the FBI put me in Vista [Hotel], they were really trying to kill me. If they killed me, they wouldn’t have to worry about me anymore, ”he wrote.
Barry said he first experimented with cocaine in the late 1980s, when the then-married mayor was left alone with a woman at a friend’s house after a long night of drinking.
He wrote that he remembered her coming back from a third trip to the bathroom and telling her, “That’s good shit. Want a little? It makes my fucking hot.
His conviction barely dented his popular support and did not prevent him from winning the mayoral election again in 1994 – which led a DC newspaper to dub him “mayor for life.”
