How to get a Covid vaccine QR code in France – fr

Anyone who has been vaccinated against Covid-19 in France and has not received a proof certificate with a QR code on it can now get one through the French health insurance website Ameli.
The dedicated link for this is attestation-vaccin.ameli.fr

Anyone vaccinated since May 3 has personally received this certificate with the code following their vaccination.

The online service is intended for those who have been vaccinated before this date and who do not have this certificate.

The certificate will essentially serve as proof that you have been vaccinated against Covid-19 and will also serve as a means of accessing major events in France, as well as traveling within the EU once its travel passes launch on July 1. .

How to get the certificate?

You must have an account with FranceConnect, which will automatically be the case if you are in the French health system and have a personal account on the ameli.fr site.

If you do not have an ameli.fr account and are in the French health system, you can create one with items such as your bank details, postal code, date of birth and your social security number.

Alternatively, you can also access FranceConnect if you already have an account with another partner organization.

FranceConnect is a service that allows you to connect to different services in a simplified way. You need a password and a user identification code (username).

You can use the ones you have set up for one of these: impots.gouv.fr (fiscal site); Mobile Connect and Me (for Orange mobile customers – to be extended to other companies at a later stage); MSA (social security for farmers); alicem (an application of the Ministry of the Interior); or the digital identity of La Poste.

If you don’t have a FranceConnect login, you can read our article explaining the steps to create one – What is FranceConnect?

If you have already configured a FranceConnect ID, after logging in you will see a screen like the one in the image below.

You can click on the “Continue on Vaccine Certificate” box and you will have your certificate.

You can then download it, print it or use the QR code to scan it on your mobile via the Tous Anti Covid application, via the “my notebook” tool (my wallet).

What is the certificate used for?

The certificate is mainly used to show that you have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

The government is currently working on a health pass system in France that will allow people to use vaccination certificates to access large indoor events of more than 1,000 people.

This system should be in place on June 9.

The certificate will also serve as proof when issuing Covid travel passes throughout the EU, to allow you to travel easily within the Bloc.

For more information on these health passes, you can read our article here.

The EU aims to have the laissez-passer in place by July 1. The French company Assurance Maladie will update the vaccination certificates from June 21 in order to format them with the European health passes. From this date, the certificates will be available in French and English.

What if I have trouble using this online service?

Ameli explains that if you cannot or do not want to use this online service, you can request your certificate from the professional who vaccinated you, or ask your GP or other healthcare professional.

You can also ask for help at your nearest France Services center, which has 1,300 in France.
