Paul, who played in the group from 2001 to 2005 and from 2009 to 2011, says early tests showed he was suffering from low sodium levels, but says medics did a poor job monitoring the situation. and gradually bringing the levels back to normal, claiming that the levels rose too quickly during his stay in the hospital.
In the documents, Paul claims he was released from the hospital before being brought back 3 days later due to a seizure. He says MRI scans of his brain showed brain damage, which he says was caused by the treatment he received during his previous hospital stay.
Paul, who is being replaced by Morgan & Morgan, says he still has seizures and other neurological issues, which he says require treatment at the Mayo Clinic. He claims that the brain problems will continue indefinitely and that this affects his ability to make a living.
Paul is suing the hospital and 2 doctors for damages.
