Google seems to be getting a bit ahead of itself. This afternoon, as noticed 9to5Google and others, the official Android Twitter account tweeted a photo of the “Pixel Buds A-Series” and said the headphones “have arrived.” Unless… it certainly isn’t. Google has yet to properly advertise the Pixel Buds A-Series, which are expected to be priced lower than the standard $ 179 model.
The tweet, which also mentioned the “great sound and fast Bluetooth pairing” of Google’s latest buds, has since been deleted. Google has a history of, well, just tweeting about future products, but that seems to have been a mistake.
The Google I / O 2021 launch is slated for May 18 in two weeks. But based on the erroneously scheduled tweet, it looks like the Pixel Buds A-Series are quite ready to go. Maybe they’ll end up showing off before the developer conference starts.
The headphones have already appeared in a marketing email to customers. They look largely identical to the 2020 Pixel Buds, so we’ll have to see where the company may have cut costs to cut costs.
Pixel Buds série A. Pixel Buds série A. Really just rolls the tongue, huh?
