France allocates 29 MW to photovoltaic tender for non-interconnected areas – PV Magazine International – fr


Akuo, Amarenco and Voltalia got the greatest amount of capacity in the procurement exercise.

The French Ministry of Ecological Transition has made public the results of the fifth round of the 282 MW solar tender for non-interconnected areas (ZNI) launched in 2019, open to photovoltaic projects – including those with an element of storage – with a size of 100 kW to 5 MW.

During the round, 33 projects totaling 29 MW were selected Mayotte and Guyana. Of the allocated capacity, 6.5 MW have been allocated to installations with a capacity between 100 kW and 500 kW on buildings or parking awnings, while an additional 7.5 MW have been allocated to projects of the same type with a capacity of 500 kW to 1.5 MW .

In addition, 15 MW were awarded in the category of ground-mounted photovoltaic power plants with a capacity of 500 kW to 5 MW.

The French energy regulator – CRE – initially planned to allocate 27 MW in the procurement exercise.

According to Finergreen, who analyzed the result of the call for tenders, among the ten developers identified, Akuo Energy is far ahead, with 10 MW of power to install.

French developer Amarenco has announced that it has obtained a total capacity of 7.4 MW. Finally, Voltalia completes the winner’s podium with 5 MW.

Next come Sunzil (2 MW), Corex Solar (1.9 MW), Total (1.5 MW) and Albioma (1.2 MW).
