One involved Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant, and Miami Heat great Dwyane Wade took to social media to ring up the incident.
If we turn our back on this kind of behavior, we are all part of the problem. This will not be tolerated! Our apologies again to Ja and his family 🙏🏾🖤 https://t.co/uG9QSS5ZIF

Wade recently bought a minority stake in the Utah Jazz, which are the Grizzlies’ first-round opponent of the 2021 NBA Playoffs.
During Game 2 of the series, three fans repeatedly threatened Morant’s family. As a result, fans were banned from returning to Vivint Arena, the home of Jazz.
The Grizzlies are part of the series as they hold a 1-1 draw and stole the field advantage at Utah. Morant was the main reason Memphis is playing well, as he tallied 26 points in a Memphis win in Game 1 and then had 47 points and seven assists in Game 2.
The incident in Utah was not the only one. There was also one in Philadelphia where a fan threw popcorn at Washington Wizards star Russell Westbrook when he left a game with an injury.
In addition, another Madison Square Garden fan in New York City spat at Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young on Wednesday.
