Dortmund ‘set asking price for Jadon Sancho’ amid Manchester United interest and other transfer rumors – fr

Borussia Dortmund would accept an offer of £ 82million for Jadon Sancho this summer, according to reports in Germany.
The next transfer window has become even more important for United after the heartbreaking defeat in the Europa League final and a checkered offseason is expected.

A center-back and defensive midfielder are top priorities for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and director of football John Murtough, along with a right winger, with Sancho likely being the perfect target.

United are big admirers of the 21-year-old and have failed to sign him on three separate occasions, with the latest attempt being the previous summer when the club were unable to come to an agreement with the representatives of the player or Dortmund.

The Manchester Evening News reported in April that the club were refusing to rule out making another move for Sancho this year, with Dortmund apparently ready to sell after a year in which their finances were affected by the pandemic.

German club officials have admitted that a sale of a top player may be needed to balance the books and, according to SportBild, Sancho would be allowed to leave if an offer of £ 82million is received.

Dortmund are reported to want a ‘guaranteed sum’ for Sancho, who has a gentleman’s agreement to leave this summer and that the England international would prefer his future to be settled before Euro 2020, which begins in two weeks.

It is added that United may look to sell Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard to fund any income.

Meanwhile, United are reportedly preparing an offer for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.

According to the Evening Standard, United are expected to show interest in signing Rice before the window opens on June 9.

However, the Hammers are reluctant to sell, having qualified for the Europa League next season, and a pursuit will be complicated by the European Championship this summer.
