Krapopolis takes place in the mythical ancient Greece and follows the story of an imperfect family of humans, gods and monsters who attempt to rule one of the world’s first cities without killing each other.
Harmon is the creator and executive producer of the project. The new animated series is part of Harmon’s exclusive direct animation deal on the broadcast network with FOX Entertainment. As a result of this agreement, the project will be fully owned and funded by FOX Entertainment, which will produce the series, with Bento Box Entertainment serving as the program’s animation studio. The project is currently scheduled to debut in spring 2022.

Harmon rose to fame at the end of the month on the small screen as the co-creator and writer of Le programme Sarah Silverman and creator, executive producer and majority showrunner on NBC’s Community, which spanned six Emmy-nominated seasons from 2009 to 2015. He would go on to co-create Rick and morty starring Justin Roiland for Adult Swim, which has grown into one of the biggest adult animated comedy series of the past decade.
