Cristiano Ronaldo could seal a sensational return to Manchester United this summer as part of a swap deal that would see Paul Pogba join Juventus, according to a report in Italy.
The future of superstar Ronaldo in Turin is uncertain despite the club winning Champions League football and winning two trophies, and Juventus are said to be open to including him in a trade.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim both players could return to their former clubs, although Ronaldo is expected to cut his hefty salary demands and United may even ask Juventus for money.

Massimiliano Allegri has returned to his old role in the Allianz stadium siege after the ax was wielded at Andrea Pirlo – and the new boss has reportedly not ruled out the prospect of letting Ronaldo go.

The same outlet believes Ronaldo is the main candidate to fill the void potentially left by Mbappe. The young ace’s contract in Paris expires in 2022 and an agreement on an extension has yet to be reached.
Mbappe insisted that the future Parc des Princes project will be instrumental in his decision to stay, and his ambitions to win the Champions League have also been laid bare.
