All seven people aboard a small plane that crashed Saturday morning at Percy Priest Lake near Nashville, Tennessee, are presumed dead, according to reports.
The occupants of the plane included Christian food guru Gwen Shambin Lara as well as her husband Joe Lara and other members of the Remnant Fellowship from Brentwood, Tennessee, WKRN-TV of Nashville reported.
The Cessna C501 crashed into the lake around 11 a.m., after departing from Smyrna Rutherford County Airport in Smyrna, FOX 17 from Nashville reported.
The flight was heading to Palm Beach International Airport in Florida, according to the station.

The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that seven people were on the plane and Rutherford County officials confirmed that at least one person had died. The identity of the occupants has not been disclosed by the authorities.
But Lara’s daughter, Elizabeth Hannah, texted members of the Remnant Fellowship, asking for prayers and saying the plane “had to descend for a controlled and quick landing,” WTVF-TV from Nashville reported.
Hannah identified the people on the plane as her parents, her husband Brandon and Remnant executives David and Jennifer Martin, and Jonathan and Jessica Walters.
It was not known who was flying the plane or who would have died in the crash. But a trailer for the Laras’ YouTube series indicates that Joe Lara is a pilot.
