The villain had accepted Barry’s proposal because she believed he was having a life-threatening heart murmur, which later turned out to be a false alarm.
Venting her frustration on a walk, Janine told Barry that she never loved him. Barry refused to believe his wife and tried to kiss her.
Pushed back, Janine pushed him back down a cliff, causing him to slam his head fatally against a rock. She watched him die as he begged her for help.
