Fox News Primetime host Brian Kilmeade blew up after famous horse trainer Bob Baffert rebuffed claims that his Kentucky Derby-winning horse Medina Spirit had been drugged before the race, as evidenced by a preliminary post-race test.
KILMEADE: “Here we are again – another major doping scandal hitting the nation this time in the king of sport. Medina Spirit – last week’s Kentucky Derby winner [is] under investigation after failing a drug test after the race. If a second test comes back positive, the horse could be stripped of the most prestigious title of all races.
At the center of the controversy is coach Bob Baffert – who was banned from Churchill Downs – home of the Derby – on Sunday. Baffert’s horses have tested positive five times in the past year.
He says all of those tests were finally resolved, but some believe his credibility is in doubt. The banned substance that appeared in the test is an injectable anti-inflammatory drug. But Bob Baffert says he would never give this drug to a horse.
Another possible reason for the positive test? Cancel the culture.
Cancel culture? Bob Baffert, you are not Dr. Seuss.
