On his experience with Warrior: “I was with the Ultimate Warrior for sure. I didn’t really know him personally, but I was there when the Ultimate Warrior wanted to make a comeback (in the 2000s). 2008, 09 and he was going to come back to do a show in Australia. He actually wanted me to help him, to get him in shape for this game. I was pretty excited that the Ultimate Warrior got in touch with me to get him in shape for this game.
On Warrior asking him for help: “So I would get together to finally talk to him about it.” He’s going, it’s pretty funny, he says’ Hey man. I will come and train with you. How about I go down Thursday? And the point is, I’m the only one who pretty much knows the story, so I can’t confirm it or anything like that. It’s not a bad story. But he said, “Why don’t I go down Thursday and train with you, start preparing for this game?” I’ll get off, probably land at 12, get there around 2, train around 4, and take a flight around 6. in more than ten years!
By refusing the request: “I said to him ‘brother, I’m sorry, but I can’t do anything in just two hours.’ I said “it’s going to take a little longer than that to work with you, to prepare. I think he was closer to California, so he went to work with RVD for this game. I watched the game and they worked for a little while in that game and it looked like his cardio was there so it sounded like anything. Whatever Rob has done, Rob sometimes does things from a wizard’s point of view. If that doesn’t work, we can try that. It might be a little unorthodox, but it will get you there.
