Michael Page vs. Derek Anderson

Round one: Anderson’s low kick. Page light on his feet as usual, with his unorthodox stance. Anderson feels his right hand. Page strikes with a quick right hand, Anderson unperturbed. Page’s flying knee attempt, blocked by Anderson. Uppercut on the right of the page. The page rushes in and connects with a one-two combo. Anderson grabs Anderson against the cage. Page’s short elbows, close to being illegal shots. Anderson is still working on the teardown. Elbows to the side of Page’s head. Knee at midsection of Page. Page drops Anderson with a kick out of nowhere! And he inexplicably lets him back down. Anderson’s nose is messy. Page drops him again with a right hand but Anderson recovers and bounces back. When the doctor has checked Anderson’s broken nose at the end of the first round, he calls for the fight to end.

End result: Page wins TKO (doctor’s stop due to broken nose)
