Former “Bachelorette” Kaitlyn Bristowe and ex-Bachelorette candidate Jason Tartick are engaged.
Tartick, 35, asked the question on Monday in Nashville, Tennessee, while the couple – who have been dating since 2019 – recorded an episode of Bristowe’s “Off the Vine” podcast.
“It was all I could have asked for,” Bristowe, also 35, told Entertainment Tonight. “The words that came out of his mouth were incredibly beautiful. We have never closed our eyes like this in our lives. We were holding hands, so intense, and I listened to his every word, but still passed out. “

Bristowe explained that she was thinking of interviewing a guest for her show when Tartick offered a 5.09-karat ring from Paris Jewelers.
The couple shared the happy news on Instagram on Tuesday with photos taken by Stephanie Sorenson.

Bristowe was “Bachelorette” in 2015. At the end of her season, she was engaged to Shawn Booth, but called off their engagement in 2018. Tartick, meanwhile, placed in the top three of the season of “Bachelorette. By Becca Kufrin in 2018.
In January 2019, Bristowe and Tartick announced that they were dating after they first met on his podcast. They moved in together in May of that year.
“We’re at the next stage in our relationship where we want to grow even more and we can’t do that long distance,” Bristowe said on “Off the Vine” at the time. “Well done to the new roommates! I can’t wait to see what you do that drives me crazy. “

The couple have already been through a lot with the two positive COVID-19 tests last Christmas.
Last March, ABC announced that Bristowe and former “Bachelorette” Tayshia Adams will co-host the next season of the hit reality TV series. They will take over from Chris Harrison who resigned after being criticized for defending the past racist actions of Rachael Kirkconnell.
