Mantha’s fine is the maximum the NHL can award a player. From DoPS:
Anthony Mantha of Washington was fined $ 5,000, the maximum allowed under the CBA, for goaltending interference on Tuukka Rask of Boston.

Meanwhile, Samantha Pell reports that Dmitry Orlov is off the hook for this blow on Kevan Miller.
Orlov launches into the kick, which is both high and late, though he doesn’t hit Miller’s head. However, Miller hit his head on the ice while falling, resulting in a short hospital stay. Orlov was initially given a major penalty on the play, but it was reduced to a minor double upon review. Athletic’s Fluto Shinzawa reports today that Miller is now home and feeling better, but he won’t be available for Sunday’s game.
The Caps welcome the Bruins on Sunday at 7 p.m.
