Of the active cases, 10,859 were in the Calgary area, 5,969 were reported in the Edmonton area, the central area had 2,901 active cases, there were 1,335 in the south area and 3,772 were reported in the northern area. There were 24 active cases not assigned to a specific health zone.
Four new deaths have been reported to Alberta Health in the past 24 hours.
A man and woman in their 50s in the Calgary zone, a woman in the 80th in the North zone and a man in the 80th in the central zone are all deceased.
