The first two sites were launched on the ring road and in the city’s 15th arrondissement. Total plans to add two more stations in the coming months.

The French energy company Total is launching its NGV refueling network in Paris with the launch of its first two sites along the ring road and in the city’s 15th arrondissement, reports Gaz-Mobilité.fr.

The two stations will offer compressed natural gas (CNG) and its renewable bio-CNG version, alongside traditional fuels. They will serve light vehicles and heavy goods vehicles. Total and AS24 Eurotrafic cards are accepted, as are payments by credit card for individuals.

The Boulevard Périphérique station located at Porte d’Aubervilliers, in the 19th arrondissement, is the first CNG filling point to be deployed on the Paris ring road, says Gaz-Mobilité.

The 15th arrondissement train station, southwest of Paris, is located in a Relais Pont Aval, on the Quai d’Issy les Moulineaux.

In addition to these first two sites, Total plans to add two other CNG filling stations in Paris in the coming months. The Aubervilliers 2 station, which will open in the second quarter of 2021, will be located directly opposite Total’s first CNG station on the Paris ring road. The fourth station should open in 2022 at Relais Porte de St Ouen, north of Paris.
