The week is improving for The Miz. The former WWE Champion took to Instagram to show off his brand new physique, while revealing that he had lost nearly fifteen pounds in the first four months of the year.

“The photo on the left was taken on January 8, 2021,” Miz said. “The one on the right was taken on April 11, 2021. I went on a trip not only to get torn apart, but also to be healthier. I started at 220 pounds and currently I’m 206 pounds. For 3 months, I weight training 4 days a week and focused on the right diet. I went gluten free, dairy free and soy free. @paleochef allowed me to follow my diet and make sure I had the right nutrition and energy to do the right thing for the day.

“I’ve never been a guy who liked the gym. I hate to start, but once I’m there I’m locked in and when I’m done I’m still glad I did. @ mattblank923 pushed me into the gym on days I wasn’t feeling up to it, mostly leg day (honestly, who likes leg days?). I do my best to make sure that I can continue to do my job at the highest level for many years to come. This 3 month routine has become a habit that I want to keep. I love the way I look and feel. There are rough days when I just want to eat like shit, and honestly, I let myself go.

“I know there are no shortcuts. You have to work to get the results you want. There is no secret drink or pill that will make you tear up. It takes a lot of work. Find a group that motivates you, find your goal and GET TO WORK. “

The Miz appeared on WrestleMania 37’s Night One last Saturday, teaming up with John Morrison in a losing effort against Bad Bunny and Damian Priest.
