Mary Fitzgerald said she had “no choice” but to take on Christine Quinn in Selling Sunset Series 4 after claiming not to congratulate her on her pregnancy.

Speaking to hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on Access All Areas on FUBAR Radio on Thursday, the estate agent, 40, insisted she had “proof” of her wishes.

Mary has run into Christine – who is expecting her first child with husband Christian Richard – in previous episodes of the real estate drama and their ongoing feud shows no signs of abating.

The real estate agent added that she “always tries to be nice” and that she “doesn’t understand” why Christine accused her of not congratulating her on her pregnancy.

Mary admitted that she had “no choice” but to confront Christine about the charges as they have to work together and are both on a reality show.

She said, “I have no choice on this! Whether I like it or not, I’m going to have to do it. I’m really trying not to.

Mary added that the drama “upset her” and that she was trying to “keep the peace for now” during filming.

She said: “Absolutely. I just don’t understand. I always try to be nice. I do not understand. So I’m just trying to keep the peace for now and I’ll talk to him about it when I should.

“But she knows, I congratulated her. I have proof of that, but I mean, but I’m not, I don’t know why, I don’t know why she says things sometimes, but hey I guess we’ll deal with that soon enough. ‘

Speaking about how the filming of the fourth series has been so far, Mary said, “Well I mean we’re just, I mean we’re in production, but we’re just getting started. So everything is still really new. But Christine, I didn’t really talk to her much.

“I congratulated her on her pregnancy, but I haven’t really seen her. So the last time I heard she was like, I don’t know, saying things on the press about me, Heather [Young] et Chrishell [Stause]. So it will be interesting.

Mary, who is married to Romain Bonnet, also raised rumors that her son Austin, 22, from a previous relationship, could join the show.

The reality TV star said, “Really? He’s not joining the show, ”although she added that he could make guest appearances.

Mary continued, “Yeah. Yeah, I’m sure of it. Because he lives here now and I see him a lot. And so, yeah. I’m sure the production would want, and the fans would want, to see a little more about him and our relationship. So I think he would be open to it.

Last month the reality TV star revealed she had previously “handed an olive branch” to her co-star Christine, 31, over the phone, and said she “didn’t know what the deal was” when she said it. ‘accused of not having sent him good wishes.

Before Christine took a look at her co-stars for not congratulating her on This Morning, Mary revealed that she called her to be forgiven, and their conversation was productive.

The real estate agent said they had “sorted out” their issues and it had gone “very well” to the point that they could return to a place where they were civil to each other.

But following the bombshell claims, Mary has insisted she won’t let things be awkward on the next series and is excited to be back. She assured fans that there would be as much drama, if not more, than in previous seasons.

The reality TV star said issues have to “crop up” due to the mix of strong personalities on the reality TV show while admitting that some scenes can be very uncomfortable to film.

She told the publication that everything about the program is real and nothing is scripted, hence the raw emotion that emerges from some scenes.

While production is free to edit the series as it sees fit, Mary thanked Selling Sunset for accurately describing the entire cast and not taking moments out of context.

Last month, Netflix revealed it is renewing Selling Sunset for seasons four and five following the show’s popularity.

Selling Sunset follows luxury real estate agents across Los Angeles who work for the Oppenheim Group.
