People reports that during the recent episode, Underwood said Osbourne never reached out after the episode aired and the show was cut off, leading to a CBS investigation into the incident and alleged racist behavior by Osbourne on the set. In the aftermath, celebrity crowds have come out to support Underwood with stories detailing their interactions with Osbourne, as first reported by Yashar Ali.
Underwood also rejected a claim by the Osbourne publicist that the disgraced talk show host contacted Underwood. Further, she took issue with Osbourne’s claims that network executives “blinded” her to the conversation. Underwood recalls:
“In my stomach, I thought it was going to go left,” she recalls. “And so I wanted to put it in the right order, to be very calm, but there were a few people who criticized me for that,” Why are you kidding someone’s feelings? ” They don’t give a fuck about yours.
