Prince Harry is officially a Californian beach boy.
The royal was pictured on Friday hitting Santa Barbara beach for a play date with his puppy and Duchess Meghan, Pula. Harry was casually dressed for the outing, wearing navy cargo shorts, a white tee, sunglasses and a cap inside out. The beach would have been deserted except for Harry, Pula and a personal security guard who accompanied the prince on his escapade – which is why he was seen without a mask.

Harry played fetch with Pula in the waves with the help of a ball pitcher. The Duke of Sussex, 36, and his wife Meghan, 39, adopted the black lab rescue shortly after their wedding in 2018. Before dating Harry, Meghan adopted a rescue named Guy, whom she took taken with her to London.
Meghan and Harry named Pula after the currency of Botswana, where the couple had their third date. Pula also means “rain” in Setswana. The name is even more touching given that rain in Botswana is rare and therefore considered valuable and a blessing.

Harry and Meghan moved to the privileged celebrity enclave of Montecito in Santa Barbara shortly after moving to California last year.
