Diogo Jota will leave for Liverpool at Arsenal on Saturday ahead of Roberto Firmino’s return to form.
This is the opinion of Kevin Phillips, winner of the European Golden Shoe 2000, speaking exclusively to Football insider on the selection dilemma Jurgen Klopp faces this weekend.
Firmino has missed Liverpool’s last three games in all competitions with a knee injury, with Jota starting alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in his absence.

However, during the international break Firmino returned to full training and he is in contention to return to the starting XI at the Emirates on Saturday.
Phillips is adamant Jota should start against the Gunners, even though Firmino has scored eight goals in 12 career appearances against the London club.
“Jota has to start against Arsenal,” he said Football insider correspondant Dylan Childs. “He has made a huge impression since arriving.
“It’s not Firmino’s best season, let’s be honest. I think he struggled at times and Jota was a breath of fresh air.
“Yeah, Jota had his injury, but he came back and went straight back to where he was before.
“I think he’s a magnificent player, really. In time, I think he will have more minutes than Firmino. I think Jota will start the game. ”
The Reds signed Jota from Wolves on a £ 41million contract last summer and he has scored 10 goals in 21 appearances in all competitions this season.
However, he has only started three games since the start of the year due to a knee injury.
In other news, Liverpool are working on an early signing of £ 9million.
