Nova Scotians 70+ Can Now Book COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments



And from Tuesday April 6, people aged 55 to 64 will be able to make an appointment to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Anyone 70 and over can now book their COVID-19 vaccine appointment. Starting today, April 1, people can book appointments at participating community clinics and pharmacies in Province. They offer the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine for this age group. The full list of clinics can be found on the booking site.

Starting Tuesday, April 6, people aged 55 to 64 will be able to make appointments to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine at participating medical and pharmaceutical clinics. This is within the age range recommended by the National Advisory Committee on Immunization. The full list of clinics will be posted on the booking site on April 6.

All Nova Scotians are encouraged to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as they are eligible. The province’s goal remains to immunize as quickly as possible as many Nova Scotians as possible, based on age, to achieve a high level of population immunity.

COVID-19 vaccination appointments should be made at https://www.novascotia.ca/vaccination or by calling 1-833-797-7772. Appointments cannot be booked directly with a community clinic, pharmacy, or doctor. Walk-ins will be refused.
