Mena told Access in January they named baby Christopher Alexander “in honor of my husband’s father who passed away when he was very young.”

She met Michael while they were starring in a 2016 Hallmark movie titled I’ll Be Home For Christmas where he was an Assistant Property Master.

They married in secret in 2018 and in October she announced that she was pregnant with their first child.

In an interview, Mena candidly revealed that her body clock was on her mind while she was trying to conceive.

“I’m 41 and there’s that air of it, I’ve got one foot in the grave and good luck,” she told People about how she felt during this process.

Finally, after she and Michael had spent some time trying without success, she decided that “I can’t do this anymore.” I’m so tired of stressing about this.

She explained, “I was trying to feel like it’s meant, it’s meant. I was truly open like the Aquarius that I am – whether this is my path or not.

Mena traveled to Georgia for a professional concert and decided to devote her attention to comedy – only to then begin to experience symptoms of pregnancy.

“At first I thought I had a jet lag because I’m really sensitive. At the end of July I had a few more symptoms and decided to get tested and it was there. It was a huge surprise, an absolute miracle! it sprang up.

“I try to take it day to day and not get overwhelmed. We become so far ahead of ourselves. So I take this every moment, ”she shared.

Mena first tied the knot when she was barely 21, marrying The Cable Guy’s cinematographer Robert Brinkmann, who was 17 years older than her.

This first marriage lasted from 2000 to 2005, then she was married to concert promoter Simone Sestino from 2010 to 2012.
