A McDonald’s customer was left behind after claiming to find a note in her order warning her to “wait a few hours” before eating dessert.
Danni Jordan had ordered a delivery to the St. Peter’s Street branch of the Derby fast food chain on Monday, which included a main meal and a millionaire donut.

But after finishing the hot food, the 18-year-old said she found an apparently handwritten note from a staff member in the bag advising her not to dig into the donut yet.

It reads: “Hello, I’m so sorry this donut is still frozen… please wait a few hours before eating it. Thank you. “

Danni said, “I couldn’t stop laughing. It was so hit or miss and I couldn’t believe they sent me a frozen donut.

“I didn’t see the note for about an hour and by that time it was quite thawed but the caramel was still quite frozen.

“He didn’t really taste that different. It was slightly soggy when thawed, but still tasted good. The donuts are so good I can’t help but order them – I’d rather they were thawed, though. ”

Danni said the note was ‘funnier than complaint’

Danni, who lives with her partner Josh, said the bizarre addition to her take-out won’t deter her from returning to McDonald’s in the future.

She added: “I tweeted a photo of the note to McDonalds but didn’t get a response.

“It’s funnier than complaint, so I didn’t think of calling the restaurant or anything.

“I tend to have a McDonalds when I can’t bother cooking, so I probably have one about once a month. “

Danni tagged McDonald’s in her social media post, writing, “I just found this note with a donut I ordered…

“I just wanted a donut… Preferably thawed ??? “

McDonald’s has been contacted for comment.
