The BBC reportedly launched an urgent investigation this week after an upcoming Line of Duty twist was accidentally revealed online.
A leading actor will join the popular drama this Sunday evening, when episode five of season six airs at 9 p.m. ET.

According to reports, the epic blunder was committed by staff at BBC Maestro, which sells screenwriting courses online.

The blunder revealed the identity of a major celebrity appearing in Sunday’s episode – but The Sun chose not to name the celebrity.

Instead, they hinted at who it might be, and there are some very famous faces in the line.
