Eamonn Holmes has revealed what started the agonizing battle with the chronic pain he suffers from.
The This Morning host, 61, said his pain started when he “mysteriously” dislocated his pelvis, which caused him back problems.

He has been open about his struggle with chronic pain over the past few weeks which has left him struggling to sleep.

Eamonn had an MRI, and although he has yet to share the results, he has now shed some light on his ordeal.

He told The Irish Independent: “I mysteriously dislocated my pelvis and I don’t know how – it’s not as erotic as it sounds.

“My back is now misaligned as a result. “

He had physiotherapy and ice cold showers to relieve his suffering.

But Eamonn admitted that chronic pain “hurts like hell.”

He added, “No one knows what it is unless you live with someone who has it.

“I am in tremendous pain and no one knows how to stop it.

“It hurts like hell and I need to find a way to get over it. It went on for a month and I feel like I can’t remember what life was like without pain. “

Eamonn got some good news this week when he revealed he was going to be a grandfather.

Eamonn said: “And they just announced that me, along with Valerie and Robin, Jenny’s mom and dad, and Gabrielle, Declan’s mom, we’re all going to Grandparents! I will be a grandfather! “

Ruth started to clap and said she “loved it”.
