The DMX family have ended a rumor that Beyoncé and Jay-Z bought the late rapper’s main recordings for $ 10 million.

The 50-year-old rapper and actor died last week after being in an intensive care unit following a heart attack at his home on April 2.

And there had been whispers that the powerful couple had bought the masters, however, this was rejected by the DMX family – whose real name was Earl Simmons.

In a statement shared by Complex, the DMX family said, “There have been a few rumors following our beloved Earl Simmons,” which we would like to clarify. No one bought Earl’s Masters.

There was also talk of family fundraising for the Party Up hitmaker’s funeral, which they quickly canceled and warned people not to get ripped off by people trying to sell DMX products to benefit from the death of the hip-hop star.

They added, “If anyone asks for money for their funeral, know that the person is a con artist. We will keep the public informed about funeral and memorial service arrangements.

Meanwhile, the music legend’s air streams have exploded 928% since his death on April 9.

In total, 75.7 million audio and video streams were recorded on April 9 and 10, against 7.36 million on April 7 and 8.

Tributes have poured in for DMX, with Snoop Dogg the latest to honor him.

Appearing on the TODAY show, he said, “I would like to say that DMX wanted to glorify his relationship with God, and he was always pushing the right thing, and he was always trying to help others.

And that leads me to believe that’s why God chose his angel to come home with him. He’s had his day here.
