Wayne Bridge expects Chelsea to try to sign a top striker this summer – and has admitted he ‘would like’ for his former club to rush for Harry Kane.
Tottenham’s ace Kane’s future looks increasingly precarious, with his side hesitating in their Champions League bid, potentially pushing him away.
And Bridge is keen for Chelsea to pounce on the situation and make a sensational attempt to lure Kane across the London divide.

He told etettingexpert.com: “I would love to see Kane go there, I think he’s brilliant. Sometimes money talks.
“If you look at how Tottenham are doing right now, I think there’s a good chance he’ll end up leaving if he’s going to win something.
“I don’t know if he would go, but I would love to see him come in and start scoring goals for Chelsea.

“Chelsea have to be careful who they buy from, but I’ll be very surprised if they haven’t brought in another striker. ”
Kane is unsurprisingly in high demand, having scored 19 goals this season for a sick Spurs, and is said to be set to go hunting for silverware.
The England captain is said to be “at the end of his rope” in north London and may be ready to tell the club he would like to leave if he misses the top four.

Tottenham president Daniel Levy to be reluctant to sell Kane despite several clubs spinning
Manchester City and Manchester United are expected to push for Kane’s signing, but Chelsea could also find themselves in the frame.
Athletic have also reported, however, that Kane’s removal from his six-year contract at Tottenham could prove difficult with Daniel Levy unwilling to part ways.
But Kane might just be a leading forward on the move in just a few months.

Erling Haaland has also been tipped to leave Borussia Dortmund, despite his club’s firm stance, and Sergio Aguero will leave Manchester City when his terms run out.
“There might be a few of these players on the move – Haaland and Mbappe – and I’d love to see Chelsea take one, even Aguero,” Bridge added.
