WWE’s WrestleMania 37 plans were plunged into chaos by severe storms less than an hour before the event began.
Vince McMahon’s company was welcoming supporters for the first time in over a year – but bad weather conditions forced people inside Raymond James Stadium to be evacuated.

As soon as the show was about to begin, WWE commentator Michael Cole announced a delay due to weather conditions.

The Florida forecast had predicted thunderstorms on both nights of the Show of Shows and sadly the rains came before the wrestling extravaganza could even begin.

The strong wind began to hit the floor seats as traffic outside the arena apparently came to a standstill.

Fans already inside Raymond James Stadium were told by the public address system that they were temporarily evacuating due to weather issues.

He said: “Ladies and gentlemen, please take note that severe weather, including lightning, is in the immediate vicinity of Raymond James Stadium.

“At this time, we ask all fans to seek refuge in the covered hall closest to your seats. “

Respected wrestling reporter Bryan Alvarez has claimed that the conditions are so serious that WWE has put WrestleMania “on hold.”

The report added that the company’s tech department was repairing minor damage before the pre-show started.

After an hour under cover, fans were told they were able to return to their seats with the event scheduled to unfold without further weather issues.

This year, Mania will have a Grammy-winning singer-starring match with Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair set to headline the first night.

But stars like Charlotte Flair and Brock Lesnar are not having a match at all for this weekend’s two-day Wrestlemania 37 event.
