A hairdresser made people cry after shaving their hair in solidarity with a man with cancer.
Neftali Martín, who had suffered hair loss as a side effect of chemotherapy to treat her lymphoma cancer, had gone to have her hair shaved by her boyfriend Joel Ortega González.

Neftali, who is also a barber, set up a camera to capture the moment he said goodbye to his hair at the barbershop in Alicante, Spain.

Immediately after cutting all of Neftali’s hair, Joel turns the mower on his own head, gradually shaving off his own blonde hair.

Visibly overwhelmed by the gesture, Neftali begins to spring.

The clip was uploaded by Neftali to TikTok, where it’s known as @neftabarber – and has since racked up over 9.4 million views.

He then posted the clip to Instagram, where he also explained a bit more about what happened.

“For those who don’t know him, @imjooeel is not just a colleague, he’s like a brother to me. I love you, my brother. “

The Lords and Barbers store, where Neftali and Joel work, also shared the video, adding, “We want to walk this path with you, together as we always have been.

“We want to show you what true friendship is because we are all one. “

He added: “For the times we have spent and those we still have to live. What the hairdressing salon unites, what nobody separates it. “

Since its publication, the video has racked up over 2.3 million likes and 27,000 comments.

One person said: “The man didn’t even hesitate to take off his hair. “

Another said, “He’s not your barber anymore because he’s your brother now.” “

While a third commented, “Bro, I’m not crying, you’re crying! Crazy respect! “

“Idk what you just did to me but I needed that feeling of restoration in humanity,” said a fourth.
