Ashley Cain’s partner thanks monuments around the world for lighting up in homage to Azaylia

Tributes continue to pour in for Ashley Cain’s daughter, Azaylia, as she battles a rare form of leukemia.
Her story has touched the country in recent months and now famous landmarks around the world have lit up to recognize the brave eight-month-old girl and her battle with the disease.

Azaylia’s mother and Ashley Cain’s partner Safiyya Vorajee shared the emotional images on Instagram on Sunday evening.

Among those lit in orange in recognition of the little girl were the Blackpool Tower, Niagara Falls and the CN Tower in Canada.

Safiyya, 34, posted the images and captioned each one: “Thanks for lighting up Azaylia. “

The CN Tower captioned its Twitter post on Friday: “Tonight, the #CNTower will be lit orange to raise awareness of Acute Myeloid Leukemia and honor families facing this rare and aggressive disease, including #AzayliaDiamondCain »

He followed in the footsteps of famous UK landmarks and buildings to pay homage to Azaylia while raising awareness of this rare disease.

Radio City Tower in Liverpool, Millennium Bridge in Newcastle, Clacton Pier in Clacton-on-Sea and Wembley Stadium in London have all been lit orange in recent days in tribute.

On April 13, the Clacton Pier Twitter page wrote: “Clacton Pier is lit orange tonight to raise awareness about a rare and very aggressive disease, Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

“We agreed to highlight this to support the courageous 8-month-old Azaylia Diamond Cain, who was given two days to live and who is still fighting 13 days later. “

The events coincided with an applause from Azaylia who saw thousands of people around the world join them.

The eight-month-old has been battling a rare and aggressive form of leukemia since she was just two months old, and heartbroken parents recently learned that there was no other treatment available.

Ashley Cain revealed in a touching Instagram post on Sunday night that her daughter managed to reopen her eyes after days they were forced to swell shut.

He revealed that the couple were not counting the days before their daughter died, but “did their best to make those days count.”
