Three separate McDonald’s sites have confirmed staff members tested positive for COVID-19 as of Tuesday, as more cases continue to be reported.
McDonald’s Canada has shared its COVID-19 notice page with updates through January 12.

At 1900 Eglinton Avenue East in Toronto, an employee said he tested positive for COVID-19 and last worked on January 8.

In North York, an employee at 6170 Bathurst Street said he tested positive for the virus. They had last worked on January 8.

An employee at 150 Rimrock Road also tested positive for COVID-19 and last worked in a store on January 10.

Anyone who has visited an affected McDonald’s is urged to follow Public Health Ontario’s instructions.

McDonald’s Canada says its restaurants have implemented improved safety measures, including making hand sanitizer dispensers available, keeping high-contact surfaces and tables sanitized, and returning masks. mandatory for all staff.
