“Am I planning any light and sparkling episodes to come?” I don’t, ”Vernoff said. “I would say we are dealing with a lot of darkness, but we are also dealing with the beauty within that darkness.”

Vernoff also confirmed that Maggie and Winston will continue to bring Grey’s Anatomy fans have a well-deserved joy as Season 17 continues.

“Even though there is darkness, there is light in darkness,” Vernoff said. “Maggie and Winston fall into this love deep and deep in the darkness. ”
