Talladega Nights Houston actor Tumlin dies by suicide at 28: Child star who played Will Ferrell’s son “found at home after self-inflicted gunshot wound”

Talladega Nights Houston actor Tumlin has died aged 28.
Tumlin, who was a child when he appeared in the 2006 Will Ferrell film, died by suicide according to Shelby County Coroner Lina Evans, who spoke to TMZ.
Evans told the site that Tumlin was killed by a gunshot to the head around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at his home in Pelham, Alabama.

Sources said TMZ Tumlin’s girlfriend was in the house at the time. A note was not found.
Houston was a star in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby as Walker Bobby, 10, the son of Will Ferrell’s character.
The film is his only professional credit.
Tumlin was said to have served in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell in 2015 and, according to TMZ, he took to other work, such as repairing telephone lines.

Tumlin’s Instagram showed off some happy moments, like cute photos of her dogs, photos of work, and photos of stylish outfits.
Houston’s sister Hayden was in shock as she paid tribute to her brother on Instagram.
Under a photo of siblings being dumb, she wrote: “I lost my brother yesterday. It doesn’t feel real or right to be without him. He was so special to us. I will love you forever, bubba.
