Potential exposure to COVID-19 in 8 Dartmouth stores



Potential exhibits can be found in various grocery stores in Dartmouth and the Mic Mac Mall.

Nova Scotia Health is reporting COVID-19 exposures at eight Dartmouth stores.
Those who have worked or visited the following locations on the dates and times listed should immediately visit the covid self-assessment.novascotia.ca/ to book a COVID-19 test, whether or not they have symptoms of COVID-19.

People can also call 811 if they don’t have online access or have other worrying symptoms.

Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 should self-isolate while awaiting test results.

Those without symptoms of COVID-19 do not need to self-isolate while awaiting test results.

  • Walmart Cole Harbor (900 Cole Harbor Rd., Dartmouth) on March 15 between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on March 15 may develop symptoms until March 29 inclusive.
  • Superstore Cole Harbor (920 Cole Harbor Rd., Dartmouth) on March 15 between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on March 15 may develop symptoms until March 29 inclusive.
  • Superstore Portland Street (650 Portland St., Dartmouth) on March 16 between 3 p.m. and 4:10 p.m. It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on March 16 may develop symptoms until March 30 inclusive.
  • Sobeys Penhorn (551 Portland St., Dartmouth) on March 17 between 2:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. and March 18 between 10:45 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on March 17 and 18 may develop symptoms up to and including April 1.
  • No Frills Wyse Road (118 Wyse Rd., Dartmouth) on March 18 between 10 am and 11:40 am It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on March 18 may develop symptoms until April 1 inclusive.
  • Laura Secord Mic Mac Mall (21 Micmac Blvd., Dartmouth) March 18 between 10:45 a.m. and noon. Anyone exposed to the virus there on March 18 is expected to be able to develop symptoms until April 1 inclusive.
  • Bulk Barn Woodlawn Plaza (114 Woodlawn Rd., Dartmouth) on March 18 between 11:25 am and 12:40 am It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on March 18 may develop symptoms until April 1 inclusive. .
  • Giant Tiger Woodlawn Plaza (114 Woodlawn Rd., Dartmouth) on March 18 between 11:45 am and 12:55 pm It is expected that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on March 18 may develop symptoms until April 1 inclusive. .

“Do not go directly to a COVID-19 assessment center uninvited,” a press release read. “Please make an appointment online or call 811 and do not go to a pop-up rapid test location. ”

Currently, anyone who has traveled outside of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick or Prince Edward Island must self-isolate for 14 days after arrival.

If a person returning from a non-essential trip outside of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, or Prince Edward Island is unable to self-isolate, then everyone in the house where it isolates itself must also isolate itself.
