Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes sold NFT for $ 3.4 million on Wednesday, just days after tight end Rob Gronkowski sold for almost $ 2 million.

At the close of the open editions, a group of 50 limited edition copies opened for $ 15,000 each. There were 95 that were sold in less than five minutes, raising an additional $ 1.4 million.
In total, he sold NFT for $ 3.4 million in 20 minutes.
Mahomes also offered a 1/1 piece, which includes a physical Ruby and Swarovski covered helmet, a 55-inch TV to display the artwork, and a signed Mahomes jersey. At 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, the highest bid was $ 82,501. The auction ends Friday evening.
The Sports Business Journal reported on Wednesday that the NFL has had “active discussions” with potential NFT partners and told teams not to make deals with the NFT without consulting the league.
