CLEVELAND, Ohio – New Orleans Saints cornerback and Cleveland native Marshon Lattimore was arrested Thursday night in Cleveland, according to three sources with knowledge of his arrest.
The 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen goods, the sources said. Prison records confirm that Lattimore was enrolled in Cuyahoga County Jail for the charge. Lattimore has not been formally charged.
Prison records show that Cleveland Police gang investigators arrested Lattimore around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. Records show three other men were arrested by the gang unit along with Lattimore. One was arrested on suspicion of improperly handling a firearm in a car and two were arrested on suspicion of having disabled weapons, which means that ‘They illegally owned a gun with a crime record.
Details of his arrest have not yet been released.
Lattimore is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and 2017 Defensive Rookie of the Year. He played at Glenville High School and Ohio State University before the Saints drafted him in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. .
