Who could come back?
Of the rested players at Fulham, you would expect most to return.
Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan are obvious choices, especially in Europe, while Riyad Mahrez is in good shape, as is Phil Foden, who is well rested.
Another who could return is Raheem Sterling, but that could mean starting without a recognized striker, which is a possibility after Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus play the full 90 at Fulham.
At the back, there will surely be a four-way throwback, with Ruben Dias having half an hour to recover at the end of the game against Fulham. Could it be a full-back three with Aymeric Laporte and Joao Cancelo as the reverse full-back?
With a fully fit squad, Guardiola has plenty of options and a two-goal lead. There are worse positions as a manager.
