Langley restaurant patrons warned of possible coronavirus exposure

VANCOUVER – A Persian restaurant in Langley is the latest location to be added to Fraser Health’s list of public exhibits for COVID-19.
The health authority is warning customers at Shiraz Grill, located at 20526 Fraser Hwy., That they may have been exposed to the coronavirus there.

The exhibits were held between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. from March 12 to 14 and at the same times from March 17 to 20, Fraser Health said in a notice on its website.

Anyone who was at the restaurant during the specified hours should self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19, look for tests and self-isolate if necessary, the health authority said.

There is no known risk for customers who have visited the restaurant outside of the stated times.

British Columbia health officials only issue public exposure advisories when there is a risk of transmission of COVID-19 to the public and they are unable to contact everyone who may have been exposed to the disease.

“If you have visited a company that you learned has been exposed and is not listed here, it is because public health believes they have contacted all potentially exposed persons during the dates and times of ‘exhibit,’ says Fraser Health on the exhibits page of its website.
