The grocery chain offers customers the flexibility to choose the vaccine they want when looking for an appointment, when available.
On the company’s vaccine planner, customers can choose whether they want to check appointments with the Pfizer or Moderna two-dose vaccines, or the Johnson & Johnson single-shot vaccine.

“Osco Drug Pharmacy offers customers a choice of vaccines based on the allocation received,” a company spokesperson told NBC 5. “We are adding appointments for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as the supply becomes available. ”
While there are many options for residents to search for coronavirus vaccines, many do not offer a choice of which vaccine to administer.

That could change, however, as Illinois expects an influx of vaccines in the coming days.
According to the governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker, the doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine are expected to increase sharply “very soon”.
“We expect to see a significant number, millions of doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine arriving very soon in the coming days,” the governor said at an independent press conference on Friday. “And then hopefully a sustained increase in Johnson & Johnson as well as we continue to see an increase in Pfizer and Moderna. ”
