On Thursday, Blues boss Didier Deschamps announced his star selection for the triple-header in this month’s World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The European giants have chosen to go with four goalkeepers, including captain Hugo Lloris, behind a busy defense which sees Real Madrid star Ferland Mendy return to the fold after missing the last international break.
Manchester United’s Paul Pogba takes center stage in the middle of the park alongside fellow Premier League stars N’Golo Kante Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko, with Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot the only midfielder in the team not to play in England.
Up front, Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann have been called up alongside veteran Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, who is just seven goals behind Thierry Henry’s scoring record for France.
