Bell announced that last week’s release of Justice Leagu de Zack Snydere on Crave is the most widely distributed title in the history of the platform. This original HBO Max movie drew over 1.1 million viewers on Crave, including Super Ecran.
According to Bell, this is more than the previous 2019 record held by Game of Thrones. It should be noted that at the time, Bell reported that Game of Thrones’ the final episode had an audience of 2.75 million viewers.
However, this number was measured with a linear metric in the Crave app, Crave via Bell’s cable subscription services and other means of accessing Crave. In comparison, Zack Snyder’s Justice League is the most popular title only through Crave on the desktop and its various apps.
Additionally, Zack Snyder’s Justice League: justice is gray, a black and white version of the film, is also now available on Crave.
Snyder’s cut of the film is four hours long, double the original theatrical version directed by Joss Whedon. This added runtime includes more scenes for characters like Cyborg and The Flash, as well as the “Knightmare” epilogue which was recently filmed by Snyder.
