Coronation StreetNext week, Leanne Battersby’s Leanne Battersby fears for her life as drug dealer Harvey realizes she’s working with the police.
Leanne (Jane Danson) is currently involved in Harvey’s dubious dealings, but secretly aided the police in the hopes of bringing him down.
In next week’s episodes, Leanne’s ordeal continues as Ned – another Harvey dealer – uses his apartment to receive a delivery and pack the drugs.
Leanne is disgusted that this is happening in the presence of her son Simon Barlow (Alex Bain), but she tries to take the opportunity to get as much information as possible from Ned.

Once Leanne has some useful information to share, she consults DC Costello to reveal Ned’s next planned move with the drugs.
Later that week, Harvey (Will Mellor) and Ned have embarked on a new job in the drug business and insist on taking Simon with them as a helper.
Leanne instead asks to take her place, but Harvey refuses to listen and argues that Simon is the best person for the job.

Shortly after, Harvey returns with the news that the drug work has turned on him as someone pushed him.
With Harvey already suspicious, Leanne reluctantly admits that it was her.

As Leanne now fears for her safety and that of Simon, she confides in her sister Toyah and reveals that she will be leaving with her son.
